How to Make Black Beans and Rice - Quick and Easy



Black beans and rice is the perfect side dish. You can serve it with chicken, seafood, beef or pork. It is easy to make (well my recipe is easy), delicious and healthy. I always keep a couple of cans of black beans in the cupboard in case I need to make a quick side dish. Black beans have a lot of nutritional benefits. They are high in fiber, which is helpful in lowering cholesterol. They have calcium, iron, folic acid and potassium. You can substitute plain white rice for brown rice.
