Believe it or not someone actually printed this headline "Republicans Turned Off By The Size Of Obama's Package". I thought it couldn't be a real headline. I searched for the actual article and found it. The author is Tom Brandt, the Opinions Editor for The Echo. Here is the first sentence, notice the words beating, vigor and rod:
"Republicans are not sparing the rod when it comes to beating up on President Obama’s economic stimulus package, but it’s clear they are unable to raise their membership to withstand the newly found vigor of his congressional muscle."I hate to be juvenile, but he said rod.
