Salvadoran Salpicon Recipe AKA as Picadillo








Picadillo o Salpicón

Ingredientes:
1 Pound of Eye of Round
1 Red Onion, Finely Chopped
3 Radishes, Finely Chopped
1/2 teaspoon of ground pepper
1/2 cup of Mint leaves, Finely Chopped
The Juice of 2 to 3 limes
Salt to Taste

How to:
  • Cook the Eye of Round in 3 cups of water ( I prefer to cook in a pressure cooker or slow cooker so that it's extremely tender and easy to shred)
  • Let the beef cool down, then shred finely or shred in a food processer.
  • Combine beef and remaining ingredients and mix well.  
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Serve with beans and rice or with tortilla.
